Sense of Social Responsibility amongst the students
The College wants to foster a sense of social responsibility amongst the students. The NSS and DLLE unit strive to create civic awareness through numerous programmes. The NSS unit has organized Republic Day Celebration, Beach cleaning, Railway Station Cleaning, Tree Plantation, participated in Anti-plastic rally, Drug Addiction rally, Rally on Blood Donation, organized Blood Donation camp. DLLE has launched activities such as Tree Plantation Programme, Slogan writing activity on women’s status (Beti Bachao), Poster making activity on career project, Poster making activity on Women Empowerment, World Women’s Day Celebration in collaboration with WDC Committee. WDC has done various activities to create a sense of Social Responsibility among the Students such as human rights etc.

Environmental Preservation
The Nature Club of the college spread the message of sustainable development and has taken up several eco-friendly initiatives. To sensitize and mobilize students’ participation for preservation and conservation of environment, Nature Club conducts various activities to conserve the treasure of natural resources around us. Nature club had done various activities such as Nature Photography competition, Tree plantation in college campus, Painting to decorate the Dead trees.

Leadership and Team Building
The college taps the potentials of students and encourages them to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The students organize Fresher’s Party, Prize Distribution Function, Teachers Day, Funfair and Alumni meet. They play an active role as volunteers of Cultural, Drama, NSS, DLLE, Nature Club, Sports Committee and WDC Committee. The students learn the importance of co-operation and collaboration through effective team spirit. Team building allows students to develop stronger relationships and trust among each other.

The college upholds India’s rich diversity through students belonging to different languages, religion, regions and culture. The parent institution fosters the feeling of patriotism by celebrating Independence Day and Republic Day on a grand scale. The students display Indian culture through folk dances in Annual Gathering. NSS unit organizes various programmes on communal harmony, democracy. It celebrates Yuva Diwas, Gandhi Jayanti, and Celebration of days of Various Leader.

Skill Development
The College tries to inculcate life skills, soft Skills in students to prepare the them to face the future challenges. College has a multi- pronged approach viz. skill development courses soft skills and life skills. Different Seminar, Workshop such as GST and Value-Added courses such as Persian course and Urdu Diploma course as part of soft skill development and value addition. Motivational Talk by Principal Sir on Orientation Day, Annual Prize Distribution Day was organized for the students. Workshops on Soft Skills & Personality Development were arranged. College has appointed Counsellor who conducted sessions to help students deal with personal concerns affecting their studies or personal well-being. College also had conducted Yoga Day for physical and emotional well-being of the students. Women Development Cell organizes self-defence workshops for girl students.

Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills
College organized various Seminar, workshop for developing Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills among students. College had organized seminar on Career Guidance, Seminar on International Human Rights, Career in Management, Banking Sector, Placement & Training Guidance and College had organized workshop on Intellectual Property Rights and Good Service Tax so that students can be updated with recent changes in IPR and GST Tax

The College is constantly grooming students for better placement and career opportunities. Students are encouraged and informed about various Jobs and placement through Notice Board and WhatsApp Group. College has organised the Job Fair for the students in which around 23 renowned companies visited the college for providing Job placements.

The NSS unit has organized Republic Day Celebration, Cleaning of beaches during Ganpati immersion, Arnala Beach cleaning, Railway Station Cleaning, Survey on perception about effective policing in vasai – virar, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Tree Plantation, participated in Mahawalkton 2018, Anti-plastic rally, Drug Addiction rally, Rally on Blood Donation, Street play on Blood Donation camp, organized Blood Donation camp. Our volunteers were engaged in relief work for flood affected Kerala and collected Rs 1500 and also collected 4 Boxes of Biscuits, 6 bag of Clothes and other things of daily needs to Kerala. DLLE has launched activities such as Tree Plantation Programme, Slogan lekhan activity on women’s status (Beti bachao), Poster making activity on career project, Poster making activity on save water, World Women’s Day Celebration in collaboration with WDC Committee and participated on UDDAN festival.
